London Calling...

So....

Me and my other half decided to hit Oxford street the day before New Year's Eve and I have to say it wasn't so bad... There are still lots of SALES in all of the shops, up to 50% so I had a really good look around to see what's on, as I am planning on going on a BIG shopping spree the first day or the second of 2015...

I have hit that point in life where I need to renew my wardrobe and I just got paid, which means there's loads of money to spend!!! :)

To be honest with you all, I ten to shop for every season, it has become like a ritual, I have to get new clothes every season, which I think is quite good. You renew yourself every 3 months and a bit of change is always healthy. I mean, I still wear pieces of clothing which I have purchased something like 3,4,5 years ago and they still fit me and in very good condition. But shopping makes me happy and satisfied, so why not do it! 

Of course, going with my other half means I don't get to walk around the women's section a lot, more around men's which isn't the best, but I didn't mind as I wasn't planning on purchasing anything anyway. As he is very picky, he couldn't find anything that he likes, which means walking for couple of hours and visiting quite a few different shops was for nothing, but then him being nice, decided to take me for dinner at Ed's Diner, Girls, if you never have been to Ed's Diner, please, please go and enjoy a delicious lunch. Ed's Diner is an American style diner with a delicious menu, free soft drink re-fills and amazing deserts. The interior is retro and very cosy and the staff are very polite. If you live in London, there is one at Bond Street and one at Picadilly Circus right by the M&M's World, these are the only two I know in central London.

To finish off the great day out, we met up with a group of our friends at Westminster where the London Eye is and went to the arcade as it was FREEEZING out there. Of course on the way, we had to take some pictures of the beautiful night lights of the city and ourselves (selfies) with the famous landmarks. 

As this was the day before the New Year's Eve and as we all know every year on December 31 when the clock strikes 00:00 the fireworks at the London Eye go off for almost 10 minutes. The organisers were preparing the London Eye for tonight's show and it was very cool to look at, as the Eye was covered in many different colours and lasers, we did take a few snaps with different coloured London Eye, but as it was severely cold  we all wanted to get home as soon as possible, so we went to find the nearest station which was Enbankment (which was open and working) and headed home...

Vaiva's skincare line - Combination skin....

As you all know, every one of us has a different type of skin. One of us may have very dry skin, while others might have very oily skin and of course, a lot of girls will have combination skin and this is what I have....

I had a very hard time dealing with my skin and it took me forever to find perfect products to prevent my skin from drying out and become very oily/greasy.

My T-zone is very oily and my nose and cheeks are dry and chapped and when applying make-up it looks horrible and patchy if it's not perfectly moisturised.

Therefore I use these products to perfect my combination skin and I call it my own skincare line as I use more that one skincare product.

Products are:

-No7 Beautiful Skin Foaming Cleanser, for Normal/ Oily skin

This foaming cleanser is perfect after your daily scrub, as it just makes the skin feel very soft and glowy, the result is instant after the first wash. I use this product daily, before going to bed and of course when cleaning my face with the facial scrub, right after.

-Clean & Clear Advantage Clear & Soothe Daily scrub Oil-Free, tough on spots & gentle on skin with natural aloe vera & exfoliating beads.

I personally use this scrub once a week or every time I wear full-on make-up. Even though this scrub has beads which are gentle on the skin, it's still a scrub and I have noticed that if I use it daily it dries out my skin, almost feels like it rubs off the very top skin layer. This scrub opens up the pores and for that reason I use the foaming cleanser after to finish off the cleaning process.

-Clean & Clear Advantage Spot Control Moisturiser Oil-Free.

I use this product after I cleanse my face with the facial scrub or the foaming cleanser, this prevents me getting spots over the night, this also hydrates my faces, so it doesn't become oily or dry. This moisturiser is very light and easy for the skin to absorb.

-Vichy Idelia Normal to Combination skin.

I came across this brand, when I actually was sent a sample of it to my house. I had this craze one day when I signed up for alot of freebies (as probably what alot of girls do, or maybe just me, haha). And I tried the sample of Vichy face cream. I am not sure now if the sample was for combination skin or it was for other types of skin, but it instantly felt very light and left my skin very smooth. I then went on a mission to find this brand and I didn't have to go far as you can find Vichy at Boots ( I am not sure about other shops such as Superdrug or Savers). I was lucky enough that Vichy did creams for combination skin which I found very hard to find for other branded face creams. Once I started using it daily my skin instantly felt better and looked better. The cream is very light and the skin absorbs the cream very quickly. I found it amazing that when using it before going to bed, the skin doesn't become oily overnight, it doesn't get blocked so you don't have to wake up thinking that a few pimples popped out while you were asleep. I do apply this after I apply the Clean & Clear moisturiser and it still doesn't become oily overnight and I don't get pimples.

This magical gel is so amazing! If you ever get a pimple or a spot and you are in public, or even at home, just apply this gel on to the affected area and in a few hours the pimple/spot will clear away. This is my life-saver, as you can also apply it over your make-up which is even better. It's a clear gel, so when applying it over your make-up, it doesn't ruin the effort you put in to look pretty.

-Vichy Normaderm Soin Hydratant anti-imperfections global.

I use this skin hydratant as my make-up base, as it is perfect! It hydrates your skin and holds in the make-up. The pores do not get clogged up and when applying make-up it just glides onto your face. So, really this hydratant/make-up base prepares the skin for when applying the make-up. I personally use it only when I apply my make-up, of course I use other products I have listed as well.

The Lush "squeaky green"shampoo bar

So here i am writing my review on the Lush product that i got few days ago!💕

As i said before it is a shampoo but in a bar soap form, when I got it I was very skeptical about it as I thought it would not lather up properly and it would be very hard to use.BUT when I used it for the first time I could not believe myself it was absolutely a dream to use very easy to apply and lathers up perfectly the hair becomes soft and it gives a chance for your natural hair to show :) I usually have very wavy and knotted hair after I wash them and when I brush them out they become frizzy and it just looks horrible , after using the lush shampoo they were soft had bouncy waves and when I brushed them out they were easy to work with and had up to 70% less frizz.

Bourjois paris - Unifying Powder Healthy Balance 10 Hrs Matt Finish & Natural Healthy Glow

Hello Beauties,

So... I can finally say that I have found the perfect pressed powder for my skin, which makes my face look healthy and glowy, it also gives that airbrushed effect.

The first time I have applied this powder I was instantly satisfied as it just cleared the oily effect the skin sometimes has. What is even more great about this powder, is that you only need to dab a very small amount onto your powder brush to get great coverage.

This powder has a faint fruity smell which is very pleasant when applying, there is no need for the nose scrunching at any time. I have had previous pressed powders which had that distinctive smell to them and it wasn't pleasant to use, even though they were of a good quality. But this powder really impressed me, as I was not able to find any negatives.

Just to let you know, ladies, my skin is quite problematic. I have combination skin, oily T-zone and dry cheeks and nose and so it is very hard for me to find good cosmetics to suit my skin type. And even though this product doesn't specify the skin type it is for, it definitely suits mine, which I am over the moon about.

The quality of this product is very rich and it is very long lasting. I don't have to worry about my skin absorbing the foundation and leaving no traces of it when on a night out and being sweaty from dancing the night away. This is probably one of the biggest nightmares of ours for when we're on a night out. Applying this powder will reassure you for the whole night you are out that you will have flawless looking skin and will look beautiful and glowy.

Boxing Day for Girls Online...

Here is what Online Girls purchesed at the Boxing Day sales.. For those of you who might not live in UK, Boxing Day is the second day of Christmas the 26th of December and most of retail shops have huge sales and amazing deals on various items of clothing , accessories and other items (up to 50%).

We begun our shopping adventure with a big and delicious lunch and then we were  ready to hit the shops. First we went to Boots, Vaiva purchased an item which was -

After Boots we wondered off to Select in which we both purchesed identical tops that were -Coral Creme colour 3/4 lenght sleeve T-shirt (orginal price £7.99 we got it for (£5.00)

As for our luck Lush was right next to Select so we decided to explore it, we both purchased few small items which were-

And as for Ugne, she decided to try the new shampoo which comes in a bar soap form (she will try to do a review on that) which was priced at (£5.49)

Next we went to H&M and from there we both purchased tops. Ugne decided to get 2 tops one blue 3/4 lenght sleeve with a little pocket (priced at (£9.99 but only payed £5.00) and another, a cozy creme coloured short sleeved Tournoi Interclubs T-shirt (originally £9.99 but again only payed £5.00)

As for Vaiva she decided to go for a fashion statement (Parental Advisory Explicit Content - text T-shirt (originally again £9.99 but she got it for £5.00).

After that we decided to hit TK Maxx but we only had a short walk around since the tills were closing and we did not get anything from there , right opposit TK Maxx there was Costa (coffee shop) so we thought we could get some tea but guess what it was closed as well funny. huh?? So we ended up finishing our shopping trip with a Moca Frappuchino for Vaiva and Galaxy Caramel Choc Chip McFlurry ice cream for Ugne.
