9 pieces of clothing every girl "should have"

So recently I've been having troubles with  what I should be wearing  , since it's been getting much colder here in London,  I decided to put this little post together to tell you , what every girl should have in her closet per say the staple pieces that go together and you can quickly pick out your outfit if you are in a rush. 

First i think its essential to have a leather jacket

A lether jacket is a simple choice to throw  over a jumper or a sweater and it will keep you a bit warmer.

Next I chose these "skinny jeans" I think to have a blue and black pair in your closet will never hurt you and if you are in a rush you can just throw on jeans T-shirt and a leather jacket and bam the outfit is on point :)

So here are few tank tops that I think girls should have a simple white and a bit more dressy one such as the one on the left that is a cropped top and also a lacy material.

" Little black dress" I think the title speaks for it self if you have a party to attend make the dress more casual with tights black flats and a blaser for work and after just jump into you little heel booties and a leather jacket and rock 'n' roll I bet all eyes will be on you.

Talking about blazers here is few I liked

They look smart on any women and you will look presentible for a job interview or a speacial presentation at work.

And now let's move on to shoes I have picked 2 pairs that are essential

Personally I buy shoes as the seasons of the year goes but as Gabriele would say girl can never have enough shoes :).

"The body shop" Camomile make-up remover!

So as I mentioned before I don't like to sleep with make-up on, so therefore I like to use many different make-up removers and I have tried a lot before but I think I found my holy grail with this product-

I can personally say I have used the Vitamin E face cleanser for year and I used to remove my eye make-up with it too, but not too long ago I went into the body shop to pick up the same Vitamin E  face cleanser but this lovely lady that worked in the shop stopped me and asked if I was looking for something new. I briefly told her that I've been using this product for my face and eyes and she looked confused and that is when she told me to try out this Camomile make-up remover that is formulated for eyes so it is more gentle and uses less harsh chemicals than the one I used to use previously.What I love about The Body Shop is that they are known for fair trade and not testing their products on animals and they use mainly organic ingrediants which is what makes the products a tad bit more pricy so for this product I paid £8 and you get 250ml and about a 2month use out of it I share this with my mum so for me it lasts a bit less :).Now if you are not a fan of The Body Shop or if simply it is unavailable in your area another product that I love and use to take of my make-up is the Garnier micellar water formula-

I have talked about this product in my previous posts and I love it.Both of these products eventually do the same job of taking off your make-up but they both have different benefits for your skin.This is priced at £3.99 at Savers or about £5.59 in other drug stores.

Miracle for tangled hair!

Hello lovely ladies!

I want to share a secret with you. A miracle hair brush which makes your hair shine and de-tangle in no time!

Have you heard of Tangle Teezer? If yes then you already know that this brush works wonders on your hair.

Also, I can speak from experience of having long, thin blond hair, which has a tendency of tangling, a lot and when I mean a lot, I mean A LOT! Especially, having my hair out was so much hassle because as soon as I left the house I could feel humongous knots on the back of my head ant neck. I have tested an enormous amount of hair brushes to see which one is best suited for my hair, but there was never a brush who could fully do the job. All the brushes I have used in the past would pull my hair out, leave it oily, brake the ends, would take a long, long time to brush out my tangled hair and of course it was very painful.

I have always used hair brushes with natural hair bristles or wooden bristles, but it would hurt my scalp and as I have mentioned, never do the job fully. All those brushes were really tiring my hair out and it was braking a lot, meaning when I brushed my hair I would have various length single hairs on my clothes remaining.

After some time, I have noticed a trend on Instagram about the Tangle Teezer hair brush and all the good reviews about it just attracted me straight away.

So let me start, first by saying that Tangle Teezer hair brush was invented to de-tangle hair and it worked. The magical bristles of the brush work their wonders when they're in action of brushing the hair. The brush's bristles are in an interesting pattern and different length and this is probably what is amazing about the job that it does.

However, a lot of people say that it looks like a dog's brush, it really does, but the wonders it does I would have to be crazy not to buy it ever again! This brush not just de-tangles your hair, but it also massages your scalp while your brushing your hair as it stimulates the circulation of your blood  and gives your hair an incredible shine, I have to say, after using this brush for a few months now, I have noticed a major difference in my ends, they don't brake as much any more and they look super healthy, even though I haven't cut my ends in about three-four months now.

This hair brush can be used on wet hair and dry hair without pulling it out, please don't be frighten by this, as it really doesn't pull your hair out and I find it much better to brush it when my hair is wet, because it is much easier to deal with my hair the next day, if I sleep with wet hair or the same day when it's dry.

Also, a good tip for you girls, on how to brush your hair properly.
My nan has always taught me to brush my hair in a specific way, as I had very fine hair when i was a little girl and short hair and I used to get jealous of other girls who had super long hair. So my nan always used to say to me, "You have to brush your hair the way I have taught you to, if you want long hair" and I never quite listened to her, because I always wanted to brush it out as quickly as possible, even though it hurt me a lot and I used to pull out large chunks of my hair.

So, getting to the tip (which I use now, myself). The way to brush your hair without pulling it is you have to brush it from your ends and make your way up to the top, it might take a little while longer, but trust me girls, it's the best way. You will notice a difference after a few tries.

You can purchase two types of Tangle Teezer hair brush, one is an original size brush and another one is a Compact Styler (which is great to carry in your purse or clutch as it is smaller), also, the colour variety just blows my mind, because you can get them in any colour and the Compact Stylers are a bit more stylish as in the colours and design.

This is the larger sized brush in Pink, it is the same one that I use at home.

This is the Compact Styler which I purchased before Christmas for myself so I could carry it in my purse or handbag,also as you can see this has a little protector which protects the bristles froom bending and for a Secret Santa, it was actually for one of my dearest friends and she LOVED it!

Here are different colours that you can purchase these brushes in, also the Compact Styler comes in a leopard print!!!

By the way, girls, you can purchase these in Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, most of the hairdressers and of course Ebay, where I purchased mine, they all came in original packaging and they were new.

Nail Care & Removing Gel Nails

Hey girls,

so before the Christmas holidays, I decided to treat myself to some nice gel manicure. Weeks have passed, and just yesterday I took a look at my nails and thought to myself, ''There's no way I will set foot outside until I fix this horrible mess on my hands!'' You know that feeling? When the nails have grown out, and it just doesn't look pretty any more; you automatically feel like hiding your hands in your pockets or gloves. Yeah. It was that kind of feeling...this is how it looked before and after!

Therefore, I decided to take care of this mess, remove the gel nails and do a nice, new manicure for myself! 

There are two methods (that I know of) to remove gel nails, first there is the nail file, second soaking in nail varnish removal. I prefer to file them, as I find it's a faster way to do it. Using my (1) 'APN Elite Files 100/100' file, I got to work...It took me roughly 30 minutes to remove them, however I didn't want to remove them fully as my nails are quite soft and they chip off very quickly, so I still wanted to keep some on to keep my real nails stronger. I'm also afraid of damaging my real nail by filing too much (it did happen before), therefore I suggest you guys be careful when filing, as it will make your nail so soft it will literally be as bendable as paper! I made sure I even out my real nails with the gel nails at the bottom, so you can't really tell I still left some on...this is how my nails looked after the filing

Afterwards, I applied a clear nail polish from (2) 'French Manicure by H&M'. After it dried, I applied two coats of burguny/dark red nail polish by (3) 'Revolution' (sorry the colours look different because of my bad lighting)

When all the nails dried completely, I used my (4) 'Avon Nail Experts' corrector pen. For those who are unfamiliar with this product, it is a pen filled with varnish removal, used to remove nail polish from the skin around the nail. It is a life saver, as I always manage to get nail polish everywhere, and its way better than using Q-tips soaked in varnish removal which usually drips down everywhere for me!
...When done with the corrector pen, I applied the (5) 'O.P.I' cuticle revitalizer oil, on my cuticles. It contains oils and extracts from fruits and plants, and a variety of vitamins to keep nails strong, and grown long and beautiful! For the last step, I applied (6) 'Garnier Intensive 7 Days' hand cream, on my hands, leaving them soft, moisturised and hydrated. This is personally one of my favourite hand creams, I definitely recommend it to everyone, especially if you have rough, and dry skin.

Ombré hair care routine

Since I have ombré hair a lot of people usually ask me how I look after my hair, since I got them done in 2012 winter and the ombré is still visible till today, i usually like to just say that I cut my ends regularly and that I condition my ends very well,., But there is a whole lot more that goes into the care than just those two simple steps :),

I first like to brush my hair before I actually wash them , because it will make it easier to brush them out later.Next I apply shampoo to my hair since my hair is on the longer side I requare a bit more shampoo which means I change out my shampoo regularly at the moment my two of the favourites are the lush squeaky green.

Or the Pantene light weight vitamin E formulated shampoo.

Personally I was never a fan of Pantene brand because I have sensitive scalp and after using the Pantene some years ago my scalp became irritated and itchy so I just decided that this specific formula that the brand is using is just not for me, so when recently i was looking for shampoo I stumbled into this in my bathroom (my parents had purchased this product) I decided to be a big girl and give Pantene brand another shot and guess what it is an amaizing shampoo it is light does not weight down your hair what so ever and it is really easy to lather up , which only helps since I don't have to rub my scalp to get the product to lather up.

Next when it cornes to conditioner I usually like to choose something that has a lot of moisture present formulas like the "KEUNE" brand or at the moment I am using this-

 which is a simple but very creamy conditioner I only apply this on the ends of my hair two times a week since I wash my hair every other day I usually apply a pea size amount and spread it all over my hair but every two or three days I would apply  a good amount  of the conditioner on the ends of my hair and leave it to set for 3-4 min and then rinse it out throughly.I some times use a hair mask but I usually use a homemade one and not the ones that are sold in the supermarkets.

Next step to my hair care is the heat control I personally have very wavy and knotted hair so when I wash and let it air dry and then brush it out I usually end up with a frizz ball on my head which is never a good look :) , so I try to wash my hair ,brush them out with a wide tooth comb and then let it air dry which makes it easier to control the frizz I try not to blow dry or straighten my hair on a daily basis for the common reasons such  as damage i already bleached my hair i don't want more damage being done. But incase i do decide to heat style my hair i then apply a good amount of this oil to the ends-

So that is kind of the major part to my hair care I try to get regular cuts every three to six months and as I mentioned above I try to stay away from using heat stylers here a few snaps of how my ombre is done I don't have a good and clear Image but I hope you can see at lest a bit of how they look-

Bourjois "Smile enhansing gloss"

So for Christmas i recieved this product that is a lip gloss duo but on one side there is a lip gloss and on the other there is a teeth whitenning gel.

Now when i first got it i thought the teeth whitenning gel is a really nice touch and that it will add a nice glossy shine to my teeth oh boy,.,. Was i wrong the gel does nothing to your teeth it just helps to freshen your breath for a brief moment and that is it , but the lip gloss itself is amazing i love the color because it is like a burgundy dark cherry red and the consistency of it it's not sticky and the application process is amazing because the gloss is smooth and easy to apply,, the only disadvantage to it ,it's that if you have your hair down and the wind is blowing your hair will stick to the lip gloss but other than that the product in my opinion gets a 7 from me becaue I love the gloss and a nice breath refresher.Also the gloss does not leave a residue on your teeth if you apply a normal amount and not over do it :) ., You will most likely need to re-apply the gloss if you had a meal with the gloss on because it will most likely become very dull color but it will stay on your lips.I wore this specific color on New Year's Eve I applied the gloss around 8pm and by midnight it was still on my lips even though I was enjoying a few glasses of fizzy drinks (cola) through out the night.

In my opinion every girly girl should have one lip product whatever it may be.In my handbag Nivea lip butter and this product is the go to when putting my handbag together.

From the minute I open my eyes and check myself out in the mirror "yes I do that" I usually then like to take care of my skin and I do that by firstly washing it with warm water then I lightly dry it with face towel and I then apply scrub which is by Skin Logy and it's a scrub with tea tree essential oils it is very gentle but it gets the work done and after washing the scrub off I then simply pat my face dry with the same towel and then move on to moisturising which I use No7 day cream although it is not a moisturiser it is still amazing cream it is very creamy and quite heavy but I only apply a dab of it on my T-zone and cheeks since it is winter I don't want to get a frost bite on my precious chubby cheeks :) after I moisturise I move on to doing my make-up as you can see, my skin care in the morning is not much. So after a hard day I really like to pamper my skin,  I personally like to believe that when you forget to take of your make up and you sleep with your make up on that will most likely cause your skin to break out and be very naughty to you. So I always and I mean ALWAYS take off my make-up if I am like extremely tired for example after a night of work or party I usually only reach for the make-up removal wipes ,although it gets the job done it is not the best option :) but if I have time I then really like to pamper my skin and really nourish it by taking off all my make up with make-up removal liquid I use the one from "The Body Shop" it is with camomile extract and it is really gentle on my skin because of how soft it is but the best part about this product is that it removes all your make up and leaves no trace of it on your skin.

I then like to use my Skin Therapy cleanser and toner occasionally.  I would change up my toners and use my Skin Logy toner which is much much stronger then the Skin Therapy one but I like it more because it can really help to clear up my skin especially my T-zone.I then like to apply my No7 night cream which is a bit more lighter than the day cream but it takes longer for the skin to absorb it.

Now this is a new product I got only few days ago it is Garnier Micellar cleansing toner which is a very similar toner to Bioderma water cleanser but much cheaper and you get a lot more.So when I got this product I though oh well it is Garnier so it is bound to be good and YES my expectations did not disappoint me it is extremely good and gentle on your skin plus it is a toner a cleanser and make up remover liquid amazing huh.,...? I am definitely going to be repurchasing this bad boy after I am done using the ones I am currently using.

Another product I will be definitely adding to my skin care is the No7 foaming cleanser that was recommended by the lovely Girl Online "Vaiva" it is an amazing foaming cleanser and I never had a foaming cleanser before so I have nothing to compare it to but I can definitley say it works wonders on my skin it is light and makes me shine which may sound that it is wrong for my skin but it definitley puts me in a good mood if my skin is smooth.

So here is my full skin care all I can say girls is that you have to take care of your skin no matter if you are covered in acne or have smooth and amazing skin because it is better to prevent pimples and ageing wrinkles rather than try to hide those things. I personally never really cared if I had a pimple or my forehead was covered in spots I would plaster it with concealer and foundation and would be fine with it ,but later on I realised what damage I was causing to my skin and started to take care of my skin, of course it took time but now I am very happy with the results and I am only going to add to my skin care as I grow.

London Calling...

So....

Me and my other half decided to hit Oxford street the day before New Year's Eve and I have to say it wasn't so bad... There are still lots of SALES in all of the shops, up to 50% so I had a really good look around to see what's on, as I am planning on going on a BIG shopping spree the first day or the second of 2015...

I have hit that point in life where I need to renew my wardrobe and I just got paid, which means there's loads of money to spend!!! :)

To be honest with you all, I ten to shop for every season, it has become like a ritual, I have to get new clothes every season, which I think is quite good. You renew yourself every 3 months and a bit of change is always healthy. I mean, I still wear pieces of clothing which I have purchased something like 3,4,5 years ago and they still fit me and in very good condition. But shopping makes me happy and satisfied, so why not do it! 

Of course, going with my other half means I don't get to walk around the women's section a lot, more around men's which isn't the best, but I didn't mind as I wasn't planning on purchasing anything anyway. As he is very picky, he couldn't find anything that he likes, which means walking for couple of hours and visiting quite a few different shops was for nothing, but then him being nice, decided to take me for dinner at Ed's Diner, Girls, if you never have been to Ed's Diner, please, please go and enjoy a delicious lunch. Ed's Diner is an American style diner with a delicious menu, free soft drink re-fills and amazing deserts. The interior is retro and very cosy and the staff are very polite. If you live in London, there is one at Bond Street and one at Picadilly Circus right by the M&M's World, these are the only two I know in central London.

To finish off the great day out, we met up with a group of our friends at Westminster where the London Eye is and went to the arcade as it was FREEEZING out there. Of course on the way, we had to take some pictures of the beautiful night lights of the city and ourselves (selfies) with the famous landmarks. 

As this was the day before the New Year's Eve and as we all know every year on December 31 when the clock strikes 00:00 the fireworks at the London Eye go off for almost 10 minutes. The organisers were preparing the London Eye for tonight's show and it was very cool to look at, as the Eye was covered in many different colours and lasers, we did take a few snaps with different coloured London Eye, but as it was severely cold  we all wanted to get home as soon as possible, so we went to find the nearest station which was Enbankment (which was open and working) and headed home...

I personally use this scrub once a week or every time I wear full-on make-up. Even though this scrub has beads which are gentle on the skin, it's still a scrub and I have noticed that if I use it daily it dries out my skin, almost feels like it rubs off the very top skin layer. This scrub opens up the pores and for that reason I use the foaming cleanser after to finish off the cleaning process.

I came across this brand, when I actually was sent a sample of it to my house. I had this craze one day when I signed up for alot of freebies (as probably what alot of girls do, or maybe just me, haha). And I tried the sample of Vichy face cream. I am not sure now if the sample was for combination skin or it was for other types of skin, but it instantly felt very light and left my skin very smooth. I then went on a mission to find this brand and I didn't have to go far as you can find Vichy at Boots ( I am not sure about other shops such as Superdrug or Savers). I was lucky enough that Vichy did creams for combination skin which I found very hard to find for other branded face creams. Once I started using it daily my skin instantly felt better and looked better. The cream is very light and the skin absorbs the cream very quickly. I found it amazing that when using it before going to bed, the skin doesn't become oily overnight, it doesn't get blocked so you don't have to wake up thinking that a few pimples popped out while you were asleep. I do apply this after I apply the Clean & Clear moisturiser and it still doesn't become oily overnight and I don't get pimples.

This magical gel is so amazing! I use this skin hydratant as my make-up base, as it is perfect! It hydrates your skin and holds in the make-up. The pores do not get clogged up and when applying make-up it just glides onto your face. So, really this hydratant/make-up base prepares the skin for when applying the make-up. I personally use it only when I apply my make-up, of course I use other products I have listed as well.
